Backups

Role

The manage_backups role is required to use this feature.

In addition to the backups that the platform performs daily on all tenants, users can obtain backups of individual tenants in both cloud and air-gapped environments on the Backups-page. Backups can either be downloaded locally or be pushed to an SFTP or S3-compatible object store. In order to perform backups users must possess the Configure and create backups role.

Attachments

When creating a backup, you will be given the choice to exclude all attachments from the backup.

Deselecting attachments from the backup can greatly reduce backup size at the cost of all uploaded media in the project.
