Uploading Floor Plans

You can upload floor plans to let your team pinpoint where devices are located on your site. These plans will also be used to create maps in your PDF reports.

Tip

For best results, we recommend using .png files for your floor plans.

Steps to Upload a Floor Plan

1. Go to the Uploads page, which shows all the files for your site.

1. Either drag your floor plan file into the upload box, or click it to choose the file.

2. Once your file is uploaded, click the three dots next to the file name. This will open a menu. Select New tag, type "map" into the field, and press Enter.

1. You’ll see the "map" tag added to your file. This tag marks the file as a floor plan that can be used for mapping.

Using the Floor Plan

Now, when you go to a device or group page, the floor plan will show up in the map section. You can drag a marker to the correct spot on the map to specify where the device or group is located.

If you’ve uploaded multiple plans, you’ll see a dropdown menu in the map section. This lets you select the right floor plan, so you can choose which floor the device or group is on.
